Carbonell Ferrer

Beatriz Carbonell Ferrer (Valencia, 1974) has a degree in sculpture from the San Carlos Fine Arts Faculty of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Her academic training is complemented by several workshops with national and international artists such as Enric Mestre, Vicente Ortí, Juan Carlos Albadalejo, David Reid, Nassio Bayarri, Martín Chirino, Yoriyasu Masuda, Elsie Wood, Brenda Oaks and Constantina Iconomopulos, among others. As a guest, she has participated in several international symposiums of open air sculpture in different countries, with works of art in stone and marble for different Spanish cities like Cartagena, Uncastillo or Camponaraya, and abroad: Buenos Aires (Argentina), Lima (Peru), Puntarenas (Costa Rica), Santiago de Cuba (Cuba), Mezdra (Bulgaria), Horice (Czech Republic), Swansea (Wales), Montevideo (Uruguay), Brusque (Brazil), Hamilton (New Zealand), Cerisy La Fôret (France), Nicosia (Cyprus), Mersin and Degirmendere (Turkey), Cipolletti (Patagonia, Argentina). She regularly exhibits in art centres and galleries. Her work has received awards on several occasions: Sculpture Arts award from the Propeller Club Valencia, First sculpture award in Villa de Pinto, Art and Justice award from the “Conselleria de Valencia” and New artists award in Benidorm. Her work is listed in the Selected Bibliography of Contemporary Valencian Artists, in the Dictionary of Valencian artists in the XX century, and in the History of Lliria 2010. She is the North Spain coordinator of the European Association
